Why P2P Global?2019-07-06T12:03:51+00:00

The modern Information Technology landscape has become increasingly complex. Between preventing security threats, managing mobile devices, cloud hosting, selecting the right software platforms and gaining data insights — there’s a lot to do.

Customers relying on a single Solution Provider are now demanding more specialized skills. But no one can be an expert across all of today’s skill categories, and so provider-to-provider — or P2P — partnerships are required to fill skill gaps. P2P collaboration has been a need for Solution Providers, but there hasn’t been a platform to do everything, including Expertise Discovery, Trust and Confidence, Coordination, Speed and Scale.

What is P2P Global?2019-10-09T16:03:04+00:00

P2P Global is a collaboration marketplace for top technology solution providers.

It is the first marketplace where you can create and respond to complex IT projects – finding that perfect match to fill skill gaps. Now, you can manage all your client’s IT needs by building your ecosystem of on-demand expertise!

Who are P2P Global Members?2019-07-06T12:04:12+00:00

P2P Global members are the owners and employees of all types of IT solutions provider companies. P2P Global members represent an ecosystem of highly skilled solution providers that help deliver enterprise capabilities to all market segments. Our network includes professionals and subject-matter experts on almost any IT related topic and new members join our platform daily.

How does P2P Global work?2019-11-01T07:55:12+00:00

P2P Global’s technology-enabled platform connects companies with skill gaps with companies that match the needs of a project opportunity.

  • Members, as an Opportunity Creator, may post a project opportunity with specific skill requirements.
  • P2P Global search functionality uses data science to match firms based on their skills.
  • A member of the matched firm, as an Opportunity Responder, may respond with a proposal.
  • P2P Global curates a shortlist of candidates for the Opportunity Creator’s review and final selection.
  • Importantly, other than a monthly subscription, P2P Global does not earn any transaction margins, fees, or other monies on the transactions between P2P members.
What makes P2P Global different?2019-07-06T12:04:40+00:00

P2P is the market leader for the IT channel industry. We believe that connecting solution providers to address skill gaps will create better outcomes for our members, their customers, and the entire IT industry. We are committed to growing our membership base and continuously improving our technology to provide the most efficient and effective service for our users.

How does P2P Global validate companies?2019-07-08T17:29:29+00:00

We have several measures in place to ensure P2P Global is a fair and reliable marketplace. We use multiple processes to verify that companies are represented accurately. Before any member can create or respond to an opportunity, their company must be authorized with a validated profile.

When selecting a firm to partner with, the firm’s profile information is displayed providing further insight on the firm’s capabilities. Ultimately, it is the Opportunity Creator’s responsibility to screen prospective candidates to make sure their skills and experience meet the needs of the project opportunity. Custom screening questions can be included with each project opportunity post. Once a candidate is selected, P2P Global helps facilitate the next step to schedule interviewing of finalists and has agreement templates available for efficient initial contracting.

How does P2P Global validate members?2019-07-08T17:29:53+00:00

We use multiple processes to verify that members are who they say they are and associated to a company. All registered companies must have a minimum of one administrator who will approve members to be associated to their company.

How do you protect my privacy and my data?2019-10-09T16:03:43+00:00

P2P Global is fully committed to secure the data of our members by ensuring OAuth 2.0 method of authentication and storing all data in our secure servers which is complaint with PCI DSS, SOC 1–3, HIPAA-BAA and ISO 27001 standards. Please refer to our privacy terms.

What do Opportunity Creators typically look for in a candidate?2019-07-08T17:30:30+00:00

In the end, it is all about the right match of skills. Each candidate firm will submit a proposal and respond to clarifying questions. In addition, the Opportunity Creator can evaluate each curated candidate by reviewing their firm’s profile. The firm profile can include skills, capabilities, certifications, work experience, references, client testimonials, and much more.

As an Opportunity Responder, what are the best practices to position my firm?2019-10-09T16:04:07+00:00

It all starts by creating a strong company profile and submitting a compelling proposal that addresses the needs of the Opportunity Creator. Responding in a timely manner increases your chances of being selected.

  • Maintain an outstanding company profile to showcase your business. Your company profile is an introduction, resume, and marketing brochure rolled into one, highlighting professional skills, experience, and portfolio of experiences and accomplishments. The best profiles are complete and accurate.
  • Create a compelling proposal. This will greatly increase your firm’s likelihood of getting selected. Your proposal should be professional, well-written, and error-free; tailor-made for the work you’re seeking; and a true representation of your company’s strengths and skills.
